Arts and Theatre Resource during Covid19 Cork

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: COVID-19

Following the latest update issued by the government, The Everyman will remain closed until the COVID-19 public health restrictions are lifted for theatres.

The roadmap The Everyman is working towards would allow the theatre to reopen Monday 10 August.   All events in this period are postponed.  Events outside of these dates remain unchanged, unless further advised.

However, we are aware that this is a rapidly evolving situation and we will be posting any updates here on our website and our social media channels.

Although our doors are closed, The Everyman Team will be working hard to reschedule events and we will contact all ticket holders of postponed shows. You don’t need to do anything, we’ll contact you! Please bear with us as we work through this.

A vital task for us now is to ensure The Everyman is ready to meet the needs of our communities – audiences, visiting companies, artists, staff and volunteers – when we reopen. We will be closely following guidelines from the government and requesting feedback from patrons to help us ensure that you, our audiences, feel safe and comfortable when you return.

The COVID-19 public health emergency is a serious challenge for The Everyman, given that we generate 92% of our income from ticket sales but we remain optimistic and excited about The Everyman’s future. If you are in a position to donate to The Everyman to support us in our recovery from closure due to COVID-19 you can do so below.

Stay safe everyone, and we look forward to welcoming you all back to our theatre.

Thanks for your support.

The Everyman Team
